Slack notification for churn risk customers

What if you could head off customer churn? In this recipe, we’ll trigger an automated Slack notification when a highly valuable customer’s product usage indicates that they are a churnrisk.


1. Set up your trigger

Build a Plainflow segment to specify the rules that determine when customers should be considered at risk of churn based on their product usage. For example, this could be customers who are on your Premium Plan but who have never performed a key event in your product within the last 30 days.


2. Trigger a Slack notification to the churn-risk room

For every new customer that matches the trigger criteria, send a Slack notification to your #churn-risk room specifying customer details like full_name, company, email, and your choice of other relevant fields.
